On April 26^th, 2018, the Supervisory Board of AS Citadele Banka approved the appointment of Kaspars Jansons as Chief Operations Officer. Mr. Jansons will join the Management Board of the Bank after receiving approval from the Financial and Capital Market Commission (FCMC).

Prior to the decision, current Management Board Member and Chief Operations Officer Kaspars Cikmačs had informed the Supervisory Board of his intention to pursue other professional projects outside of the Bank. His term as a Management Board Member will formally terminate in June of this year.

Kaspars Jansons has over 20 years of work experience in the banking sector. He has led the Treasury department of Citadele since the Bank’s founding in August 2010, and from October 2016 to January 2018, Mr. Jansons worked as interim Chief Financial Officer at the Bank. Mr. Jansons holds a master’s degree in economics from the BA School of Business and Finance.

Mr. Jansons does not hold any shares of AS “Citadele banka”.
