With reference to the news article publicized by the newspaper “Dienas Bizness” on November 20, 2008 about the possibility of JSC “Latvijas kuģniecība” (JSC “Latvian Shipping Company” – LASCO) trading its shares at the Warsaw Stock Exchange, LASCO informs that the company continuously inquires about the influential organisations of the market, their opportunities and requirements, including the Warsaw Stock Exchange. LASCO has already reported earlier, that the company being one of the largest companies in Latvia and one of the largest ship owners in the world within the medium sized tankers’ segment, the shares of which are traded on the public stock exchange has a regular interest about financial instrument market in the region and receives the same interest from the participants of the market. At present no decisions within the said context have been reviewed or taken by the management of LASCO.
