Hereby JSC Latvijas kuģniecība (JSC Latvian Shipping Company – LASCO) informs, tad in accordance with the decisions approved by the Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia there have been made changes in the names of the following companies managed by LASCO daughter company LASCO Investment, Ltd.:

• The name of Rīgas līcis VN, Ltd. had been changed to Rīgas līcis, Ltd.;
• The name of Namserviss VN, Ltd. has been changed to LASCO Housing Service, Ltd.;
• The name of Nekustamie īpašumi VN has been changed to LASCO nekustamie īpašumi, Ltd.

In December 2008 LASCO made a decision to invest company’s free financial resources in various projects which are not related to the core business of JSC Latvian Shipping Company. These are liquid real estate projects in the most valuable developmental territories in Latvia, as well as the publishing and printing industries. The management and development of the new investment sphere of JSC Latvian Shipping Company is handled by its 100 per cent daughter company LASCO Investment.
