Supervising the financial and capital market in accordance with Article 2, Paragraph 1 and Article 6, Subparagraph 2 of the Law on the Financial and Capital Market Commission and based on the information received in accordance with Article 7, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 2 of the Law on the Financial and Capital Market Commission, the Financial and Capital Market Commission has established that Aleksandrs Livšics alienated 64,900 shares in the JSC ''Rīgas Farmaceitiskā fabrika'' (ISIN code LV0000100782) on 5 August 2009 and 153,000 shares in the JSC ''Rīgas Farmaceitiskā fabrika'' (ISIN code LV0000600336) on 13 August 2009. Taking into account the above, Aleksandrs Livšics alienated the voting rights in the JSC ''Rīgas Farmaceitiskā fabrika'' in the amount of 9.83 %, attached to the 64,900 JSC ''Rīgas Farmaceitiskā fabrika'' shares, on 5 August 2009, but the voting rights in the amount of 23.18 %, attached to the 153,000 JSC ''Rīgas Farmaceitiskā fabrika'' shares, on 13 August 2009. |

About alienation of essential participation in share capital
JSC „Rīgas farmaceitiskā fabrika” hereby informs that it has received a concretized notification from Aleksandrs Livšics about alienation of essential participation in the share capital of JSC „Rīgas farmaceitiskā fabrika”. According to the notification Aleksandrs Livšics has alienated 32.87% of share capital of JSC „Rīgas farmaceitiskā fabrika”.
