On Friday, June 30 at the end of the visit of
Ukrainian government delegation in Latvia, minister of Economics of
Ukraine Vasilijs Cusko and Artis Kampars the minister of Economics
of Latvia visited Latvian alcoholic beverage manufacturing company,
AS "Latvijas balzams".
Taking into account the openness of Ukrainian government
for cooperation and AS "Latvijas balzam’s" assessment of current
Economic development cycle in Ukraine, the company's management
board is considering the opportunity to increase the export to this
country up to five times. Purchasing of raw materails necessary for
production of vodka was reviewed as one of the potential ways of
cooperation.
A/S "Latvijas balzams" plans to acquire 5 480 000 EUR profit
in 2010, as well
as to invest 2.7 mil. EUR in company's development. Further information:
