Due to decrease of the production volume in February, March and April of this year related to shortage of the orders for the concrete reinforcing bars and continuation of the crisis tendencies, the production process of JSC “Liepajas Metalurgs” is taking place with interruptions defined by the market situation. For the work personnel the work payments is provided in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Latvia.

Taking into consideration that – within the boundaries of the economic planning – the products are produced only for specific orders, there is no accumulation of the finished products, the plant is operating not in the continuous production cycle as it was until February this year but according to a defined production schedule which is determined on a weekly basis.

Taking into consideration the market situation with the supply of raw materials and that the present orders are executed Joint Stock Company “Liepajas Metalurgs” temporarily stopped the production on 10.04.2013 till 15.04.2013 when the execution of orders will be resumed.
